Southern Rock kicks things off with a blend of rock, blues, country, and plenty of guitar-driven swagger. Expect familiar favorites, road-trip staples, and legendary bands that helped give the American South its own unmistakable rock sound.
Then, Progressive Rock takes things in a more experimental direction with ambitious songwriting, intricate instrumentation, unconventional arrangements, and some of rock's most distinctive musicians. From sprawling classics to recognizable hits from bands known for pushing the boundaries of the genre, this playlist is for anyone who likes their rock a little more complex.
Finally, Grunge takes us to the late '80s and '90s with distorted guitars, alternative rock anthems, and the artists who helped define the sound of the Pacific Northwest before taking it worldwide. Expect plenty of familiar songs from one of the most influential rock movements of the era.
