This week's Music Bingo at Salt Mine City Brewing is diving into Modern Pop, featuring playlists dedicated to the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s. From the songs that defined the turn of the millennium to the hits dominating playlists today, we're covering more than 25 years of pop music in one night.
First, we're heading back to 2000s Pop, when boy bands, pop princesses, R&B crossovers, pop-rock, dance hits, and larger-than-life stars dominated radio and MTV. Expect plenty of nostalgic favorites from a decade that gave us some of the most recognizable pop songs of the century.
Then, 2010s Pop takes over with massive chart hits, dance-pop anthems, electronic influences, powerhouse vocalists, and the artists who helped define the streaming era. From early-decade party songs to the hits that closed out the 2010s, this playlist is packed with familiar favorites.
Finally, 2020s Pop brings us into the current decade with viral hits, streaming sensations, breakout stars, established superstars, and songs that have already become defining tracks of the era.
