Time: 7:00 PM
Venue: The Sitch, Lincoln, NE
Theme / Description:
Two years. Two generations of hits. One night of Billboard Hot 100 Music Bingo.
This week's Music Bingo at The Sitch is heading through the charts with the Billboard Hot 100 of 1997 and 2019, featuring two playlists packed with the songs that defined two very different moments in popular music.
First, we're heading back to 1997, when pop, alternative rock, R&B, hip-hop, adult contemporary, and massive movie soundtrack hits all shared the charts. From unforgettable '90s anthems and emotional ballads to songs that instantly transport you back nearly three decades, this playlist is packed with nostalgia.
Then, we're jumping forward 22 years to 2019, when pop superstars, hip-hop, R&B, dance-pop, viral hits, and genre-crossing singles dominated streaming, radio, and the Hot 100. It's a playlist filled with songs that helped close out the 2010s and introduced some of the artists who would continue shaping popular music into the next decade.
From 1997 to 2019, we're putting two generations of Billboard hits head-to-head. Expect familiar favorites, forgotten hits, nostalgic throwbacks, plenty of singing along, and prizes every game.
