Venue: Tipsy Tina's Taco Cantina, Lincoln, NE
Theme / Description:
Two years. Two very different eras of popular music. One night of Billboard Hot 100 Music Bingo.
This month, Music Bingo at Tipsy Tina's is heading back through the charts with the Billboard Hot 100 of 1982 and 2013, featuring two playlists packed with the songs that defined their respective years.
First, we're heading back to 1982, when pop, rock, R&B, new wave, and the evolving sounds of the early '80s filled the charts. From established superstars to artists helping shape the sound of a new decade, this playlist is packed with recognizable classics, nostalgic favorites, and songs that have remained staples more than four decades later.
Then, we're jumping forward 31 years to 2013, when pop anthems, dance hits, hip-hop, R&B, indie crossovers, and massive radio singles dominated the Hot 100. It's a playlist filled with songs that defined parties, playlists, and pop culture throughout the year.
From 1982 to 2013, we're putting more than three decades of Billboard hits head-to-head. Expect familiar favorites, forgotten hits, plenty of singing along, and prizes every game.
